LAYOUT OF HOUSE

From the hall you turn left into a huge lounge and dining room, where you can watch television comfortably or eat in roomy style. The gallery kitchen is off here, and can also be seen through a hatch (the person working in the kitchen is never cut off).

The flag-stoned kitchen, with pine units has a dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, microwave, fridge and deep freeze.

On the first floor, at the top of the stairs, there is a bathroom, with wash-basin, loo, shower and bath.  To the left of this is a small double bedroom with twin beds, and next door is the large master bedroom with views to the sea.  It has two double fitted wardrobes with dressing table between and a 6' double bed, finished off in NEXT materials.

LEISURE

There is always plenty to do in Sheringham which is a small town, many hours can be whiled away in bookshops or antique shops.  There are many proper walks, (details in house) or more copies at Watts Bookshop.

On top of this there are many good eating places, (details in house) and five public houses.  If you are a member of the National Trust, the world is your Oyster as there are many houses to visit, (details in house).

Sit on the beach on nice days and once the tide has gone back there is plenty of clean sand for walking on, or wait for the tide to come up to have a really good swim.  There is also the famous 18 hole Golf Course at Sheringham.

More information can be found on the following web sites: Sheringham Norfolk - Sheringham Golf Course - The National Trust - (links open in new window).

SHOPS

The town and shops are about 100 yards walk away.  You can get most things in Sheringham.  Sainsbury's or Co-op for groceries.  Joyful West, Scotters or Richards for fresh crabs, lobsters etc.  Papworth's for the best meat.  If you prefer the bigger supermarkets, there is a large Morrisons at Cromer (3 miles away).
